South Africa's 2nd Largest Supermarket Store "Pick n Pay" now accept Bitcoin payment





Subsequently after one of China's biggest Bitcoin exchange company "BTCC" stopped the trade of the Bitcoin digital currency due to warnings by the Chinese government, one of South Africa's biggest chain store known as Pick n Pay has adopted the digital means of payment as one of their multiple means of payments.

The Cryptocurrency has experienced some setbacks consequently to the harsh judgment displayed by the Chinese government towards the Bitcoin money. But with this new gesture that has been demonstrated by one of Africa's best retail store, it is expected that the Bitcoin money might regain it stand within few days.

Software payment development company "ELECTRUM" stated on their website that picks n pay groceries store now accept Bitcoin. According to the software payment specialist "ELECTRUM", the checkout out procedure is as easy as scanning a QR code with the customers using their Bitcoin wallet app via any mobile phone devices.

This is a great development as long as cryptocurrency is concerned. And there are possibilities that other retail stores within the continent may adopt the same payment approach for their customers.
